Junior Master Chefs!

Inspired by the Junior Master Chef Series, Isaac had been searching through the internet, faithfully, for recipes lately... Mummy promised to allow them to cook after his all his tests... We tried our first Fish Fingers Recipe (from CBeeBies I Can Cook) yesterday and it was easy health and definitely tasted AWESOME!

Actually Isaac did most of the work but Mummy forgot to take pics of him! Only remembered when he was done and had gone to take his shower :( So took a shot of Domi while he was drizzling oil on the fish...

Season the White fish with Paprika and Black Pepper

Coat fish with plain flour, dip in beaten egg and finally coat with a layer of bread crumbs.

Place on lined baking tray and drizzle oil on the fish.

Bake fish in oven at 200 degrees C fr 15 minutes :)

Serve with a squeeze of lemon and Mayo or Tar Tar Sauce...
Lovely on fresh greens!!!

Shocked, Surprise, Elated!

I was elated when I saw Isaac's name mentioned in the class blog for winning some CL competition (surprised) in conjuction with his school's CL activities week. http://nyps1m2011.blogspot.com/2011/09/blog-post_15.html ...

Though it was just a 猜谜游戏 competition, the way his tr worded it made it sound so prestigious!!! LOL

My initial reaction was shocked cos his name was in red! Tot he was in some kind of trouble! LOL I was so happy that I had to wake daddy up from his sleep to announce the little BIG news! I was reciprocated with a 'CHEY' reaction from him... Wahahahahaha... It's the little things in life, Dear...

Splashing good times at the pool with my Boys...
The boys had a few 'first times' this trip...
One of them was to go on the ATV, Quad Bike!
FIERCE!!! GROWL!!!
My Biao Biao had a go on the pony... This is no ordinary slow-do boring trotting pony...
It really Gallops!!! Boy was my boy impressed! Heeeee Hah!
Another first for Isaac ~ Archery...
He was quite impressive I must say! Missed the bull's eye (of course!) but could at least get the arrow to the red area just beside the bull's eye :)
Jumbo time... Hee we were strolling and saw this elephant with his Mahout...
He was so nice to get the elephant to pose for us and the boys got to feed the elephants too (FOC but daddy gave a small token to the mahout)!!!
Here are some pics of our sumptuous dinner spread at Kelong Seafood Restaurant :)
All time Fav, The Melon Sago Dessert!!!
It was strictly 'No Sharing of dessert' policy for us on the second night! We each had a bowl!!!

To sum up, The room didn't exactly meet my high expectations... First night, er... a little squirmish... Second night, completely knocked out!!! LOL
Pool Facilities were sufficient for boys, we still prefer the beach there... The water was surprisingly Crystal clear!
Food at the hotel ~ Edible
Food at Kelong ~ Excellent!
The various activities, Bowling, ATV, Archery, Sea sports, Pony ride, MASSAGE, MASSAGE, MASSAGE were enough to keep us occupied for 3 days :)

Happy Teachers' Day!

Happy and Blessed Teachers' Day to all  Fellow Teachers :)
"Teachers Plant Seeds of Knowledge that Grow Forever!"

This year we folded some Paper hearts for the boys' teachers :)
(After a failed attempt making cards with glitters... LOL)
Daddy thought and still thinks that it was a complete waste of time but I believe children should learn to appreciate their teachers and not take them for granted...
Some little gifts for the teachers...
A close up view of our paper heart :) Made with love by Isaac...

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!

Loving London I ~ 10 - 21 May 2011

Been MIA for awhile... Really thought for a long while as to how to start and what to put up first...
Finally decided on our awesome, romantic memoriable London - Paris trip over everything else!
It was pamper pamper pamper all the way :)
My excellent start! Comfort all the way to London...

We were all too hungry and tired to take any group pics...
Almost fell flat into my pasta cos I was suffering very badly from the jetlag...
It was really bad cos I was just stone and not making much sense...
A beautiful Day 1 in London...
Outside St Paul's Cathedral...

Our nearest underground...

Beautiful Deck Chairs @ Green park!

Patiently waiting for the Change of Guards to start...

Feeling cultured...

Amazing... Never thought I'd actually enjoy this!

Awesome!
Outside Westminster Abbey ~
An excellent summary of the Abbey : Kings, queens, statesmen and soldiers; poets, priests, heroes and villains - the Abbey is a must-see living pageant of British history.

Bottom right pic shows three attactions in 1 pic ~
London Eye, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey
Yes just have to take pics of these! Original!!!
Hilarious Street performance at  Covant Garden while waiting for Andrew to join us for dinner...

A Day at Work with Mum

The P1s at NYPS were assigned with this holiday 'project' - A day at work with a Parent!

Daddy's first reaction, 'he's not coming with me! How to meet clients with him?!?' So the responsibility fell on mummy me once again :)

Nearly freaked out when I saw the questions that they had to answer! Definitely not meant for P1?!?
Some examples : Parent's job responsibilities, description of my parent's work day (gosh!),  Interesting/fulfilling part of my parent's job (faint! Pay day???) Difficult part of the job (What do I say??? Horrible parents? lol), Other personnel working in the company and their responsibilities (Refer to your sch's Org Chart!!! lol)

I feel that it's not an easy task for both kids n parents... I mean some working environments may not be children friendly (morgue???lol) or suitable for children (KTV??? lol). Oh well, complaints aside, we had better get it over n done with before going for our 3 week-long trip...

Packed them in the car n off to Sch we went - Mummy's Sch :)
Founder Fr Nicholas Barre

School Hall
Reading one of the moral stories. They can be found along the corridors.
Visit to the staff room, collecting goodies from all the Aunties :)

Took the lift up to the 7th floor...
To visit Mummy's P5 Classroom... Thank God for Lifts!!!
Isaac was really impressed with the Indoor Sports Hall :)

Saw him busy taking notes hee and they had some fun at the exercise area :)

Needed a drink badly after exercising...
Next destination, Canteen!
Had free nuggets from Aunty Tijah
and
Isaac managed to 'interview' Mr Hor, OM

I think Isaac din like the giggles from the girls :) It made him feel awkward...
The boys were like 'Aliens' to the girls and giggled when they saw them! hahahaha
Anyways, it's a load off my chest and now
We can ENJOY our 3 weeks long HOLIDAY in Perth (yes I know, I just came back from one... but this one's for the kids! The other was for my Dear...)!!!
